PHILATELIC CANCELLATION SERVICE

For the cancellation of your postal items with the Commemorative Postmark, you can visit the Central Post Office of Athens, 100 Aiolou, 101 88, Athens, 9:00 to 13:00, for three Thursdays on from the circulation date.

Alternatively you can send your postal items free of charge to the Philatelic Directorate, 100 Aiolou, 2nd floor, 101 88, Athens. Requests for cancellations on postal items with the Commemorative Postmark are accepted within 60 days of date of circulation (the mailing date is evidenced by the postal marking of the postal service). The philatelic items must bear the name and full address of the sender, so that they can be returned to them. Please make sure to note the indication "PHILATELIC OBJECTS" on the shipping envelope.

The postal items sent for cancelation with the Commemorative Postmark must have affixed stamps with a minimum value of € 0.90.
