www.philotelismos.gr is the e-shop for the online display and distribution over the Internet of the products of the Greek societe anonyme "Hellenic Post S.A.", (hereinafter referred to as ELTA), having its headquarters in Greece, in the city of Athens (TIN:094026421 / Tax Office FAE Athinon).

The Subscriber/User/Visitor is responsible to carefully read the Terms of Use below, prior to his/her accessing-visiting philotelismos.gr site and before any use of the content and services provided therein.

Subscriber's/User's/Visitor's access to philotelismos.gr site implies unreserved acceptance and commitment against the following operator of philotelismos.gr, as per the Terms of Use cited below.

In case the subscriber/user/visitor does not agree to the terms of use described below, then he/she must not proceed to the usage of the services and contents of philotelismos.gr.

1. Terms

ELTA reserves the right to unilaterally amend or renew the present terms and conditions of the transactions performed through its e-shop, in accordance with its needs and transactional ethics. ELTA undertakes the obligation to notify users on any amendments as well as any change, via this e-shop webpage. It is clarified that any change to the terms shall not affect orders that have already been placed.

2. Information & Products provided

The subscriber-user of the web pages and services of philotelismos.gr website (hereinafter: philotelismos.gr or the Network) agrees to and accepts the following terms of use, which are considered as material and which apply to its web pages, i.e. without limitation to their Content at times, including graphics, images, pictures and files contained in such web pages:

Definitions

www.philotelismos.gr is a website on the Internet (World Wide Web). On certain pages access is allowed only to members who have obtained a personal subscriber-user password. Furthermore, www.philotelismos.gr is an interactive bundle of online information and services for the subscribers-users. Through www.philotelismos.gr the subscribers/users/visitors are able to buy products (E-Commerce, B2B & B2C).

SUBSCRIBER: means any individual or legal entity that has obtained one or more access passwords to www.philotelismos.gr and is responsible for all passwords and the use of www.philotelismos.gr by any user.

USER: means the individual who has obtained one or more passwords to www.philotelismos.gr of a subscriber, regardless the latter is aware of such use or not. However, the subscriber and the user may be the same person.

VISITOR: means the individual visiting web pages of the www.philotelismos.gr website, which are accessible without a password.

PASSWORD: means the password composed by numbers, and/or letters belonging to a subscriber of www.philotelismos.gr website and enabling access to all offered services. A subscriber may own more than 1 passwords.

Passwords. The Subscriber is prohibited from assigning, in whole or in part, the right to use www.philotelismos.gr website. Passwords of each subscriber are personal and not transferable. Moreover, it is prohibited to grant the use or to disclose passwords to any third party in any way. Access to www.philotelismos.gr is permitted by exception to the employees and associates of a subscriber entity, provided that the exact number and data of its employees, who shall use the site, has been indicated.

Liability of the Subscriber/User/Visitor. The Subscriber/User/Visitor of the webpages and services of www.philotelismos.gr Network assumes liability for any damage caused to the Network by misuse or unauthorized use of the respective services. In particular, the Subscriber is in any case responsible for the protection of the all passwords registered under his/her name. Consequently, the Subscriber declares and warrants that he/she undertake liability towards www.philotelismos.gr for any damage which may be caused to the Network by misuse or unauthorized –constituting a breach of contract or tort – use of the passwords, regardless of the identity of the user and regardless of whether the user has been registered for use of the password by the Subscriber of www.philotelismos.gr. Furthermore, the Subscriber agrees and accepts that the use of his/her password, or passwords at any time and hence his/her access to and use of www.philotelismos.gr shall deemed, without any disproof being allowed, as being made by him/herself, and in case of an entity, by its legal representative.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

Under no circumstances, including the case of negligence, shall the Network be liable for any damage of any form whatsoever incurred by the Subscriber/User/Visitor to the pages, services, options and content of www.philotelismos.gr, which he/she uses at his/her own initiative, being aware of the terms hereunder. The content of www.philotelismos.gr is provided "exactly as is" without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied in any way whatsoever. www.philotelismos.gr disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and condition for specific use. www.philotelismos.gr declares that it will make all efforts necessary, however it can not warantee that the pages, services, options and content shall be provided without interruptions and errors and that errors will be corrected. Furthermore, www.philotelismos.gr cannot warrantee that the same or any other affiliated site or servers through which these are availed, are free of "viruses" or other damaging components. www.philotelismos.gr does not provide any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness or availability of the content, pages, services, options or their results. for any corrections or assistance shall be borne in all cases by the Subscriber/User/Visitor and not by www.philotelismos.gr

The content and information included in www.philotelismos.gr shall not be construed, in any case, as professional advice, nor conceal in any case any such "customer" relationship between the Subscriber and www.philotelismos.gr or as a suggestion to take or not take any specific actions. In particular, the content and information included in www.philotelismos.gr shall not be construed as a warranty for the increase of the volume of sales or turnover of the Subscriber/ User/Visitor. www.philotelismos.gr undertakes the collection, processing and distribution of its content without however any guarantee with regards to the accuracy, completeness, sufficiency and, in general, the adequacy of such content, including the absence of errors. This applies in particular due to the particularly large volume and the participation of third parties (individuals or legal entities) during initial generation and collection of the said content. Therefore, Subscribers/Visitors/Users of the Network, using the services on their own initiative, undertake responsibility for crosschecking the information provided with the sources. In any case, www.philotelismos.gr reserves the right to monitor, correct or refuse to publish on its web pages any material sent by Subscribers/Users/Visitors.

Links to other sites. www.philotelismos.gr does not verify the availability, content, privacy policy, quality and completeness of the services of other websites and pages referred through "links", hyperlinks or advertising banners. Consequently, for any problem occuring during the visit/use of these sites, one should directly contact the relevant websites and pages, which are responsible for the provision of their services. The Network shall in no case be deemed to embrace or accept the contents or services of web sites and pages it refers or links to in any other way.

Links to www.philotelismos.gr. Any links to www.philotelismos.gr are only allowed to direct to the home page and not to the pages (which may be) protected by password, unless there is a contrary express agreement www.philotelismos.gr and the entity performing such reference. Moreover, the "links" should only be created only via hyperlinks and not via images.

Newsletters
The newsletters that the subscriber, visitor/user of the services of www.philotelismos.gr may receive following his/her subscription in the mailing lists, constitute intellectual property of the Network and, consequently, are protected by the related provisions of the Greek law and international conventions. www.philotelismos.gr.gr reserves the right not to register a person in the mailing lists, or to remove a person from such lists.

e-Shop
www.philotelismos.gr. provides to its subscribers/users/visitors e-commerce services, in accordance with the specific terms applicable and attending the protection of personal data submitted in order to use such services.

ELTA is not able to provide any warranty regarding the availability of products, but it warrants that the end users shall be promptly informed of their non-availability.

ELTA shall only be liable for intent and gross negligence in case of a delay in the delivery of products ordered and for information or services provided through its website.

ELTA’s e-Shop shall not be responsible for any technical problems that may occur when users attempt to access the website and during such use, and are related to the operation or compatibility of their infrastructure with the use of website. Moreover, ELTA shall not be liable for acts or omissions of third parties, particularly unauthorized third party interventions to products and/or services and/or information provided by it.

4. Copyright

www.philotelismos.gr webpage is the official web site of ELTA. All content of the webpages uploaded by ELTA, including images, graphics, pictures, drawings, texts, offered services and products shall be intellectual property of ELTA and protected by the relevant provisions of Greek law, European law and international conventions.

Any copying, analog/digital recording and mechanical reproduction, distribution, transmission, downloading, modification, resale, creation of derivative works, or misleading the public regarding the actual provider of the content of websites is prohibited. Any reproduction, reissue, downloading, posting, distribution or transmission or any other use of the Content in any manner, or by any means, for commercial or other purposes shall only be allowed upon prior written approval by ELTA, or any other lawful holder of the above copyrights.

The names, images, logos and distinctive marks representing ELTA and/or its online store, and/or third parties affiliated to them, as well as their products or services, are the exclusive brands and distinctive marks of ELTA and/or www.philotelismos.gr and/or of the said third parties and are protected by the Greek, communal and international legislation on trade marks and industrial and intellectual property and unfair competition.

In any case, their display and report on www.philotelismos.gr web pages should in no way be construed as a transfer or license or right to use them.

5. User Obligations

The users of web page www.philotelismos.gr accept that they shall not use the page or the online store of ELTA for the transmission, publication, e-mail or other communication of any Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, offensive, libelous, inappropriate, obscene, constitutes violation of third parties privacy, demonstrates empathy, expresses racial, national or other discrimination, may lead to damages to minors in any way, is not allowed to be published in accordance with the law or the contractual or administrative relations (such as internal information, property and private information acquired or released in the process of business relations, or covered by non-disclosure agreements), content that violates any patent, trade mark, commercial secrete, copyright or other third party property right, contains software viruses or any other code, files or programs designed to interrupt, damage, destroy, or obstruct the operation of any computer software or hardware, which intentionally or not violates the applicable Greek and communal legislations and their provisions, may harass third parties in any way, including all contents used for the collection or storage of users' personal data.

6. Security

ELTA acknowledges the importance of the protection your personal data and your online transactions and employs all necessary measures using the most modern and state of the art methods in order to ensure maximum security. All information related to your personal information and your transactions are secure and confidential. The security of ELTA's online shop is achieved through the following methods:

Customer Identification

Two codes are used for your identification: the Login code (user name) and your Personal Secret Security Code (password); each time you enter those codes you acquire access with absolute protection of your personal information.

You have the ability to modify your Personal Secret Security Code (password) and your e-mail address (e-mail) as often as you wish. You are the only person who has access to your information, using the above codes and you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy and concealment by third parties. In case of loss or dissemination you must proceed to our immediate notification, otherwise ELTA online store shall not be responsible for the use of a password by an unauthorized person. For security reasons, it is recommended to change your password regularly and avoid using the same, easily detectable passwords (eg date of birth). We also recommend to use letters, numbers as well as symbols for password generation.

Controlled Access (firewall)

Access to ELTA systems (servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows the use of specific services by the customers / users, prohibiting at the same time, access to systems and databases containing sensitive company data and information.

Transactions confidentiality

Confidentiality is considered self-evident. The same basic principles applicable to conventional transactions, also apply in the case of e-commerce (electronic commerce). All information transmitted from the user / member to ELTA is confidential and ELTA has taken all necessary steps to use them only to the extent necessary and in the context of the services provided. Some of the measures taken are the following:

Only authorized employees have access to information of your transaction and only when necessary, eg for processing your requests.

ELTA does not disclose customer information and transactions, unless with written authorization on your part, or when required by a court decision or a decision of any other public authority.

In case ELTA employs third parties in order to support its systems, it shall ensure confidentiality.

You may request any information held about you and request their amendment, as long as you can document the existence of an error.

For your own safety, you should treat all information provided through the service as private and confidential and not to make any disclosures to third parties.

7. Personal Data Protection

When visiting the pages of www.philotelismos.gr you may be required to provide personal information about you (name, last name, profession, TIN and Tax Service, email address, products delivery address, etc.) generally relating to your orders processing. Any personal data stated anywhere on the pages and services of www.philotelismos.gr websites, are filed exclusively for your transactions, your communication with us, the improvement of the services provided and the assurance of the operation of the respective service, and are not allowed to be used by any third party (unless when provisioned by the Law and solely and exclusively by the competent authorities).

In any case, the ELTA employees who have access to your personal information are specific and unauthorized persons access to your personal data is prohibited. All reasonable measures to secure your data are employed. In particularly rare and special cases, your personal data may also be notified to companies cooperating with ELTA in order to support, promote and fulfill our transactional relation. This is always subject to the preconditions that fully ensure that your personal data are not submitted to any unlawful processing.

The user has the right to receive information or refuse further processing of his/her data at any time in accordance with the legislation for the protection of personal data.

8. Products Purchase

On the shelves of our e-shop you may find stamps (postage fees), prepaid products, packaging products, telephony cards, folk art items, ELTA products, etc.

To facilitate your search, we have divided our products in core categories. Each category has a sub-tree, which appears in the left column on your screen.

Our goal is for you to reach the final product with the least number of "clicks" possible. If you are looking for something specific, use the "search" function which will lead you straight to that option.

ELTA makes every effort to provide high quality services. However, it is not possible to exclude cases of errors in prices and secondary product features while it cannot be guaranteed that there will be no site outages or "human" errors during the update/recording of the price of a product. In order to ensure the safety and effectiveness of your purchases, you are invited upon detection of a product offered at an unusually low or high price compared to its market value, to communicate with the Customer Service Department at eshop@elta-net.gr

or through the email form of the web site, prior to proceeding to any order placement.

Upon registration of your order you will receive an automated e-mail which will report the details of your order. After order processing by the online purchases department of ELTA, you shall receive a second confirmation e-mail with the products that will be sent to you.

During the evolution of your order you will receive a series of automated e-mails, which will indicate the progress of the order. These messages relate to the following steps:

Order Confirmation: Sent as confirmation once the order has been recorded in the system.

Invoice: The order invoice is sent with the products.

In case of a pending item related to your order, you shall receive a respective e-mail. Alternatively, we will contact you at the phone numbers that you provided when registering or placing your order on our site.

There is no way to disable these updates, the transmission of which is a prerequisite for proper development of your order. You are invited to enable reception of such e-mails and maintain them throughout the course of our transaction. In case you do not receive the relevant e-mails, in accordance with the terms governing our transactions, you are responsible to inform us without delay.

9. Order Status Tracking

You can track the progress of your order through www.philotelismos.gr selecting "Order History".

10. Withdrawal / Return - Replacement of Products

You have the right to return products purchased and request their replacement:

a) in all cases where under evidenced ELTA liability you received other products or products materially different from those ordered

b) in all cases of defective products, in case of lack of an agreed feature and under the condition that (i) there is no other relevant provision in the manufacturer's or importer's guarantee and the product is covered by a guarantee, case upon which guarantee terms shall apply, or (ii) in case there is no guarantee according to (i) and the legal deletion of purchaser rights has not lapsed, or (iii) there is no guarantee as per (i) and the defect or missing quality are not significant.

You have the right to return products purchased and request replacement by other product or products up to the amount already paid or for an additional amount, if desired, within twenty (20) days of receipt of the product

You have the right to return the products purchased and request refund of the price paid

a) in all cases of defective products, in case of lack of an agreed feature and under the condition that (i) there is no other relevant provision in the manufacturer's or importer's guarantee and the product is covered by a guarantee, case upon which guarantee terms shall apply, or (ii) in case there is no guarantee according to (i) and the legal deletion of purchaser rights has not lapsed, or (iii) there is no guarantee as per (i) and the defect or missing quality are not significant.

b) within 14 days following delivery of the product

ELTA is liable for damages in case of absence of an agreed quality or in case of existence of a defect, only if the latter was caused by its liability, and therefore is not liable for slight negligence.

Moreover, in all cases, the product to be replaced-repaired must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt. In all the above cases, the products to be replaced, repaired must be in the state received by the customer, complete and without damages and their packaging must be the one that originally accompanied the product and must be in excellent condition with all documents accompanying the product (i.e. Dispatch note, retail receipt, etc). Before any return prior consultation with ELTA online store is recommended. In any case, return and replacement is possible under the following conditions:

1. You contacted the online store on same day or the next business day by email, at eshop@elta-net.gr
2. the product is accompanied by all necessary documents evidencing the transaction (eg Dispatch note, retail receipt, etc).

11. Order Cancellation

Cancellation of orders may be made in the following cases: Before completion of your order, during electronic processing of your order you can click "back" and remove the quantities of products from your basket by clicking "delete". If online order is completed but the product has not been dispatched yet, you can contact eshop@elta-net.gr and one of our partners will undertake the cancellation of your order. After reception of the product, contact eshop@elta-net.gr or via the e-mail form on the website, explaining why you wish to cancel the order. One of our partners will assist you immediately and will advise you on all your options. If your order has been invoiced and wish to cancel it, then contact our Customer Service Department at eshop@elta-net.gr  and provide the details of your order. However, the status of your order will not be updated on your account page.

12. Payment methods:

Credit Card payment:

ELTA's online store accepts all major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard and Euroline. Your credit card transactions shall be performed on Eurobank e-POS (redirection) and shall be subject to the bank's service security level. Furthermore, no details of your credit card are stored on ELTA servers.

Payment upon reception of the order at your premises (cash on delivery):

Pay the employee of our company upon delivery of your order to your premises. The method of payment on delivery applies for the following cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Larissa, Heraklion, Crete (regardless of weight) and for the rest of Greece if the package does not exceed 6kg. Does not apply for dispatches abroad.

13. Difference between shop value and online store value

The pricing policy for ELTA products is the same in all our distribution channels: stores, catalogs, e-shop. However, in our online store, and for selected products we created "offers", where the value at the online store differs from the one at the other channels and is only valid for purchases through this online store and dispatch to your premises. In any case, although we make every effort to accurately register the data and prices posted on our online shop, it is not possible to exclude the possibility of occurrence of typographical or technical errors in prices and product features. For this reason we recommend that also in cases of "offers" before each payment and checkout of your order, to contact with the Customer Service Department at eshop@elta-net.gr or via the e-mail form on the website in order to confirm the price recorded.

14. Order / Product Delivery / Shipping Costs

Checkout:

As soon as you complete your order, you will receive an automated message with your order code.

Delivery dates and times:

The delivery days are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 17:00 pm (for Athens, Piraeus, Patras, Thessaloniki, Heraklion and Rhodes). For the rest of Greece the hours from 9.00 am to 14:00 shall apply.

Receipt of products:

Place your online order by 15:00 Monday to Friday and ELTA will send your order within 5 business days for mainland Greece and Crete (in the capitals of prefectures) and 6 days for the islands, as long as the products ordered are available. These deadlines do not apply during periods of extreme weather or strikes, and in any event of force majeure, which could affect the transportation times accordingly.

Shipping Costs / Free delivery:

The shipping costs are the following:

DELIVERY INSIDE GREECE: 3,00 €

DELIVERY WORLWIDE: 5,00 €

PAY ON DELIVERY SERVICE: 3,00 €

FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDERS OVER 50,00 €

Prices do not depend on the volume or/and weight of products

Receipt in store

You can pick up the products of your order for FREE at one of our stores by selecting "Pick up from the store" and the store that suits you from the list. A prerequisite is the payment of the order by card or paypal.

15. Order delay

Your order may be delayed for the following reasons:

Late product shipment from our supplier: To be able to offer very competitive prices, we order our products from a very wide range of suppliers. But there are cases where an order may be "stuck" at the customs or in transit, and as a result the product may not be available in our warehouses when expected. In such a case, we will contact you to ask whether you wish delivery of your order excluding the trouble product, or to offer you an alternative. The particular item will be shipped immediately upon reception in our warehouse.

The product you ordered has been discontinued and is not available: Among the products displayed in our online shop there are rare cases products for which the supplier suddenly and unexpectedly announces that are canceled. In this case, one of our employees will contact you immediately to provide you with all alternative options.

In periods of extreme weather or strikes, and in any event of force majeure, which could affect the transport and delivery of your order.

In the event it is not impossible to contact you by telephone and/or through e-mail (in case of a problem with your order, either in connection with the product, or in relation to the payment thereof) i.e. because the information you have entered is not properly updated.

16. Information e-mails (newsletters)

1. ELTA periodically sends newsletters through email.

2. ELTA is not responsible if the newsletter is not delivered to the intended destination, although makes every effort for their delivery

3. Newsletters may end up in spam folder, so, please check regularly that they are not stored there

4. Add ELTA's email address to the safe senders list

5. In case you no longer wish to receive ELTA newsletters, you can notify us using the contact form on the site.

6. ELTA information is provided only if you opt so and for the desired time period. Contrary to the above, if you have placed an order with ELTA using our site, we send automated informational messages (email) on the progress of your order. There is no way to disable these updates, the transmission of which is a prerequisite for proper development of your order. You are invited to enable reception of such e-mails and maintain them throughout the course of our transaction. In case you do not receive the relevant e-mails, in accordance with the terms governing our transactions, you are responsible to inform us without delay.

Amendments
www.philotelismos.gr. reserves the right to unilaterly modify the content of the Terms of Use as well as the content of the web pages. For these changes, www.philotelismos.gr is responsible to notify the subscribers/users/visitors immediately, through e-mail, or using any other expedient means, as per its discretion. As per the above, the continuation of access and usage of www.philotelismos.gr, even after the application of any amendment, implies the unreserved acceptance of such modifications and terms thereof by the subscriber-user-visitor. In particular, the Subscriber, in view of the statements and guarantees cited above under title "Subscriber responsibility" accepts and agrees that the usage of his/her passwords and access to www.philotelismos.gr following any eventual amendment, as per the above, shall be considered as the undisputed acceptance of such amendments by the Subscriber him/her-self, who is committed, regardless of the user identity.

Miscellaneous terms

This agreement is the integral agreement between the Network and the Subscriber/User/Visitor of the web pages and services and is binding solely to them. No amendment to these terms shall be considered and shall constitute part of this agreement, unless expressed in writing and integrated hereto, in electronic format. www.philotelismos.gr. and the Subscriber reserve the right to unilaterally terminate the Use agreement, at any time, either through e-mail, or Fax with immediate effect.

Privacy Statement        

Personal data

When visiting the pages of www.philotelismos.gr and in order to order products, as well as to ensure the ability to contact in order to provide you with information on new products, you may be required to fill in your information (name, profession, address, email etc.). Any personal data stated anywhere on the pages and services of website www.philotelismos.gr, are intended solely to ensure the operation of the respective service and may not be used by any third party, without complying with the provisions of Law . 2472/97 concerning the protection against personal data processing, as in effect.

The online store www.philotelismos.gr operates according to the applicable Greek and Communal legislation and safeguards your personal data for as long as you are registered with a www.philotelismos.gr service.

The personal data stated at www.philotelismos.gr online store are used exclusively by the latter, in order to support, promote and execute the trading relationship. The information required from you

Personal data: Each visitor can browse online store www.philotelismos.gr without providing any personal information. Personal data are required only when you become a member and proceed to the ordering of products, or if you choose to receive our e-mail updates.

Information concerning product purchase: The data required for each transaction are those included in the online store registration form. Furthermore, we request certain information such as shipping address details for the order and type of document (receipt, invoice), mobile phone number (in case we need to contact you directly), fax number and occupation.

In summary, we request only the information necessary that enable you to enjoy a unique shopping experience: consistent delivery of products ordered, secure payment of your order and personalized service based on your needs and preferences.

In order to be able to offer personalized services, most large companies use alphanumeric identification files, called cookies.
