Special Issues 2024

The Hellenic Post, to facilitate collectors of commemorative postmarks, has a set of envelopes with the special commemorative postmarks of the year 2023.

Hellenic Post is promoting the work of the sports-educational program UniquAll, which aims to empower and develop children with special abilities, with a mini sheet of four self-adhesive personalized stamps and a numbered commemorative envelope, released on March 13, 2024 and accompanied by a Special Commemorative Postmark.

To mark the Olympic Flame Lighting Ceremony for the 2024 Summer Olympics (PARIS 2024), which will take place in Ancient Olympia on April 16, and the Olympic Flame Handover Ceremony, which will take place at the Panathenaic Stadium on April 21, Hellenic Post is releasing two Commemorative Envelopes with stamp and Special Commemorative Postmark, and Individual Personalized Stamps “Olympic Flame 2024”.

The Kasos Massacre was a tragic event that occurred on March 17, 1824, during the Greek War of Independence. It marked the destruction and massacre of the entire population of the island of Kasos by Ottoman forces. 

Ηellenic Post, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the naval battle of Samos, during the Greek Revolution of 1821, is releasing the following philatelic product, which will be available from Tuesday, August 6, 2024, and will be accompanied by a Special Commemorative Postmark. This historic naval battle was a great victory for the then Greek Navy and ensured the independence of Samos.
