The International Foundation for Greece (IFG) was founded in London by George and Aspasia Leventis. Its main goals are the promotion of the Hellenic culture abroad in collaboration with international personalities of arts and science, and social contribution. On 14 October 2024, Hellenic Post is releasing the Commemorative Series of Stamps "Distinguished Greek Personalities - IFG", which includes 4 stamps depicting distinguished living Greeks awarded in 2024.

The stamps and the FDC will be available from the Post Offices and from the Hellenic Post e-shop from the date of their release until October 13, 2026. The Numbered Set Pack will be available until sold out.

Collectors can have their philatelic items franked with the special commemorative first day of issue postmark by sending their postal items to the Philatelic Service (100 Aiolou St, second floor, 101 88 Athens), provided stamps from the set with a minimum value of 1,20 € are affixed to them. Please mark the envelope “PHILATELIC ITEMS”.
